You
need to draw your object using 3D observational drawing techniques. Your
drawing must show:
c Tonal modeling with a
consistent light source
c Tonal contrast = good
darks, a range of greys and bright whites
c Detail and texture
c Some consideration to
the space around the object: ie the table or wall (not in detail though, just
shade the negative space).
c Show a shadow being
cast from your object
c NO
OUTLINES
c Media: 6B pencil, A4 Paper
c Only use your object.
c Position it so it sits
at an angle to you.
this are tyhe basic outlines for challenge one of the amazing drawing race. my objects were two computer keys therefore i had to draw them at an angle and used a 6B art pencil. what i could do better next time is blend my lines better and also get my proportions more acurate.
Hi Devan - Good start to your blog though use the holidays to catch up and record all your other challenges as well as your new challenges :)
